What a crazy first half

So I am so excited it has come. The middle of the semester meaning I am half way done until a needed break between semesters. Wow has the time flown by I thought yesterday was September 4th the first day i got back to Rexburg. A lot has happened.

-Re-uniting with friends
-An old roommate getting sealed in the temple
-A whole softball season (my team never won :( But I batted over .500)
-First tests in all my classes
-First snow of the season
-90hrs of class
-100hrs of homework

That is just a list of the few things that have happened. I really can't believe the semester is half over. My favorite phrase so far that I have heard this semester is, Choose 2: Social Life, Good Grades, or Sleep. Welcome to college. This statement is so true. I have sacrficed all of those but at different times. The one I have sacrficed the most is good grades. I should've sacrificed a social life because I still don't have one. Well right now im sacrificing sleep to write this so I should go to bed just thought I should update about my life. Nothing has changed so I hope this next half is better than the first.

I love and hate college

I dont like it when you can love and hate something. I love and hate college.
I love college because:
1. The freedom of no one parenting me
2. The friends I have made
3. The interesting classes

I hate college because:
1. All the work required to get good grades
2. The teachers think that you only have their class and no ones else
3. Having to choose to give up a social life, sleep, or good grades.

This week was lots of fun. Right now I play on a competitive intramural fast pitch softball team and a intramural basketball team. I love playing in the leagues and I use that as my stress relief, but when it cuts into the time to do homework it is not fun staying up late to finish. I had a 6 hour take home physics test due on wednesday but tuesday was filled with classes from 745 11am and then tutoring til 1230 and then lunch, a girls gotta eat, and then devotional from 2-3 and then softball from 4-6 and then a basketball game from 630-730. So I could not start the test until 8pm. Plus I had about 2hrs of other homework. I love college because I got to play sports and see friends and listen to a great devotional about the temples.
I also love college because of awesome roommates. My roommate who I share a room with is my friend Stephanie from maryland. We have been friends for 4-5 years and it has been so much fn to room with her this semester. I was surprised that we had never stayed up late talking after a month into the semester. It happened for the first time on that tuesday night. I was going to bed at midnight to wake up early to finish my test because I was too tired to think anymore. But then I actually stayed up until 230 talking to Stephanie. Why does everything have to alswasy happen at once. I loved the chat but hated waking up in the morning so tired.
Well I hope this next week goes well and I can figure out a better way to mange everything in my life. Well I should've been taking a test right now so I better end and go and take it before the testing center closes.

Pictures From College

This is a picture of my friends and I at 4am on valentines day after we filled a friends car with 90 balloons because he was not going to have a valentine.

This is a picture of my roommate for two semesters named Brittnai. She was lots of fun to room with. She now lives on the other side of campus from me

This is a picture from my window April 2008. I saw snow everyday I was there in the winter semester. It is very common in Rexburg to have snow this late in the year.
As you can see that it is really cold in Rexburg, ID. Also there is not much to do so we have to make our own fun.

The First One

Hey Everyone,
So I have enjoyed looking at people's blogs but now a lot of people have gone to a private setting so I decided to start a blog. I doubt I will actually update it regularly as being in college gives me no time to do much. So the update of my life is I am in college at Brigham Young University - Idaho. This is my third semester here and I am majoring in Physics hence the title of my blog. I am enjoying my time here and having lots of fun with friends and roommates. I also have to say how much I love student wards and the callings you get. Right now I have the calling of Birthday Specialist for my relief society. I don't really know what I am suppose to do for it yet but I'm excited to find out and serve in the calling. Well that is an update in my life. hope all is well.
